I have an 8k model 100 which I would like to convert into a 16k
unit.  The local radio Shack wants about $130 for adding this
chip, which is close to 50% of the cost of the entire unit.  Does
anyone konw whether this chip can be purchased elsewhere and what it
takes to install it?
