The photography in AoG was very good, but on the whole I found the movie disappointing: - it was very Hollywood - Jane Fonda came off as stident and unbelievable - the shrink-as-detective idea was never raised above the readymade cliches (Those meetings with the judge- ugh!) - the climax was predictable (I killed the baby!), and having Meg Tilly stigmata-ize then was this movie's equivalent to the gratuitous car chase - the ending was weak One * out of four. Very Missable.
