They are listed in order of "must-see" quality. (1) "Plan 9 from Outer Space" - The most popular bad movie so far on the net. Needs no further description, since it has been fully described in the discussion on Totally Bad Movies. CLASSIC SCENE: A pie plate suspended by a string with burning gasoline moves across the screen. (2) "The Creeping Terror" - A rug with radiator hoses hanging from its head attacks people. Most of the sound in the film is bad narration, with occasional bad voiceovers and bad sound effects. CLASSIC SCENE: Man inside alien ship (full of 1950's electronic gear), banging a piece of metal against an old voltmeter. The narrator explains, "He tried to stop the transmitter, but the alien alloys in the ship weren't even dented by his efforts." (3) "Mothra" - A giant moth, conjured up by the singing of two Japanese pixies, attacks earth. CLASSIC SCENE: Giant moth blows down buildings with the beating of its wings. (4) "Godzilla vs Megalon" - Godzilla and a robot named "Jet-jaguar" battle a cockroach-shaped monster that rose from an undersea volcano. CLASSIC SCENE: The fist-fight between Megalon and Godzilla (even though neither have hands). Whenever one is knocked down, his victor jumps up and down in a little jig. If you have other nominations, let me know. Some of the Totally Bad Movies may qualify, if they gave you sufficient enjoyment. Be sure to include with your nomination a brief description and a classic scene which a first-time viewer should watch for. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dave Kirby ( ...!ihnp4!akgub!cylixd!dave) (The views expressed herein are the exclusive property of Dave Kirby.
