I don't think many other people in the audience thought it very funny either (I saw it in northern Mass.), as I don't ever remember hearing anyone else giving much more than a chuckle either. I, and several others I know, were disappointed by this film which has been given such high marks for comedy. It was amusing, it was original, I enjoyed it, but it just wasn't all that funny.
