Halloween It may have been responsible for tons of bad slasher films, but it was well done and is one of the only horror movies that had a large segment in daytime that was still scary. 3. The Exorcist 4. Carrie 5. Rosemary's Baby Sorry - but I Love horror films and am always on the lookout for a good one (I hate films that resort to the "jump out" stuff - like cats jumping on garbage cans.) I rented "The Evil Dead" with VERY high expectations and laughed throughout - it was too ludicrous. Laura Clifford
