Boy, do I feel old when you talk about the
original version of "Bang a Gong"!!

You're right, it is MUCH better than Power Station's
version.

I can't give you more discography on T. Rex, but
I can tell you that Marc Bolan, lead singer, etc.,
of T. Rex, died on September 16, 1977; cause of
death escapes me at this time.

Bang A Gong was one of my favorite songs when
I was in eighth grade!
