This is the first time I've ever used this system, so please bear with me. This is GREAT. I just discovered gdead yesterday. I was wondering if there were any other heads working in the computer industry -- It's good to find that we're everywhere. Anyway, I just thought I'd let everyone know about some killer bands that play in the east. If you're ever in the Jersey area, check out a band called BEAR'S CHOICE. There repertoire includes alot (but not all) of the DEAD'S great tunes as well as CSNY, The BAND, Bob Marley, Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, CCR, etc. They tour continuously throughout our great state, and will be playing this saturday at Freddy's in Bernardsville. If you are in Upstate New York ( eespecially around Albany) you have to see SLIPKNOT. They are phenomenal. The last time I saw them play, they played from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM!! It was about 5 sets and 4 encores. Ninety Nine percent of there tunes are DEAD. They played a great Drums and Space as well as the best Terrapin I've ever heard by anyone. There 4th set included Dark Star, St. Stephen, Fire, Aiko, and much more. If anyone knows of any other such bands in the east or would just like to comment on some bootleg bands in other parts of reality, I'd be interested to hear from you. On an unrelated note -- WHEN IS the JGB coming back east? The last time a saw Jerry without the DEAD was when he toured acoustic with Kahn -- It was great but I thought it didn't match some of the HOT JGB shows I've seen. Hugs and Drugs, Ted Feyler
