Co., Inc., Everett, WA Lines: 28 I am considering controlling either a TX7 or one or more (eventually) TF1 Tone Modules from a computer. I have several questions about both approaches. o Can a person purchase JUST the manual for the TX7 (I note that the DX7 manual may be purchased on its own)? o I note that the TF1 modules normally plug into a rack (the kx-818?) and have MIDI in/through and audio outputs. However, there also appears to be card edge connectors which normally connect to an internal bus in the kx-818(?). Since there is a MIDI out on the kx-818, I assume that each TF1 can dump its programming data through this internal bus and then out the common output? Can anyone tell me briefly what sorts of signals/information flows over that bus between multiple modules? Is documentation available on it? I have written to Yamaha with these questions, but thought a query on the net might dredge up information that would be of help. Also, if any of you are currently using a computer/TX7 or computer/TF1 combination, I would be interested in your comments about ease of integration and control.
