Burchell) Organization: Ancient Illuminated Seers of Bavaria Lines: 17 Folks -- I have a DX7 that I have been using for about a year and I think it's about time to add a drum machine. I am looking for one <$1000 (preferably *much* less), and I have looked at several, including the Roland TR-707 and the one from Yamaha (very futuristic looking, with the big square pads on it). They both sounded good, and I am interested in hearing from other netters who have drum machines about the relative merits/detractions of the one they own, and ones they may have demoed. I will be glad to summarize if anyone else is interested. Alexander G.
