suddenly, today, about 1/2 our news supposedly originated at 'garfield',
'Memorial U in St. John's, Newfoundland'.  this is balderdash, as evidenced
by the Path:

	...!garfield!user@UUCPsite

where UUCPsite was on the order of 50 odd sites.  what gives?
