I will add my voice to Erik's for the banning of shareware funding
requests in netnews.  USENET is for non-profit use only.

I suggest that in the future anyone who has any shareware to offer post
an article to net.sources.whatever announcing the availability of the
product, and giving yourself as the contact, with net address, phone #
or however else you want to be contacted.  You are free to then
negotiate any forms of exchange privately with anyone who contacts you
-- this will keep any requests for funding outside the network.
