High resolution dot > matrix will do. Something nice but not 'first quality'. Comments about You really should get a laser printer. If your pages/month requirements are low (<5000 copies/month), an HP LaserJet Plus will do all you need. At 8pages/minute, that's about 500 lpm, for $4000, and it does troff (if you buy commercial software). You can get an Imagen for $5-7000 with better graphics and troff support. If you need much higher volumes, you can get a printer based on the Ricoh printer or the Xerox 2700. Expect to pay about $20-30000 for the Xerox-based printers, with capacity >50K pg/mo. -- ## Bill Stewart, AT&T Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ 1-201-949-0705 ihnp4!ho95c!wcs
