Please reply to me or post and I will forward the information. The dog with the problem is a Kuvasz. The problem is a terrible itching that causes him to tear the hair out of his hindquarters and tail. The dog is about 5 years old and lives in a humid house (inside most of the time). This is NOT a dry skin problem. Several veterinarians have been consulted, but to no avail. Cortisone has been tried, but the dog is immune to it (no effect whatsoever). Any help would be appreciated. The owner definitely does not want to have to put the dog to sleep.
