   This year (and I believe last year as well), Dynastar is putting these
little rubbery dampers on the tips of their slalom and gs skis (I don't
know what the names are now for these models but they used to be called
the Omeglass II and the Acryglass).  Does anyone have a pair and can you
tell me if they're any good at absorbing shovel vibration?  It's time
for me to blow some bucks on a new pair of Omeglass, and I'm pondering
shelling out the $300 for this model.
