Kenn Barry wrote that the SF Book Club edition has the typo (which Niven
must regularly correct at signings): I have the regular Simon & Schuster
edition, and the typo is there, as well, the last sentence of Chapter
50, on p. 465: the last word should be "spaced," not "spared."  (Niven
corrected mine, as well, and initialed it "LVCN" ?!)
