There isn't anything which says that people should not cuddle when they come
home feeling grumpy. As a matter of face, it is helpful to me to snuggle and
talk with my friend a little, before we go to sleep. I usually wake up in a
better mood in the morning.  Some people don't have the good sence to realize
that the person which they come home to, is not the ones which they have to
deal with at work.  One of the biggest reasons that friends decide to live
together is because they like each other.  It is wrong to treat those friends
as if they are someone who doesn't like you.
As a rule, candle-light dinners are pretty rare even when one of the members
of a domestic partnership is at home most of the time.  Most of the time, you
may feel that it would be better if someone else took the responsability of 
your meals and chores away from you.  That would leave more time to do all of 
those other things that are so important. 
The fact of the matter is, life just isn't that way. When all is said and done,
the one that you can always rely on to do things just the way that you like
them, is yourself. It seems that so often, that people forget this fact.
If you want to enjoy life, it really takes two people bringing money into the 
household to be able to live in a comfortable fashion.  When children are
involved, there is no question about it.  To eat correctly and dress comfortably
it takes a bit of cash these days.  Besides, which of you would opt to stay 
home?
I have tried it and I would rather work outside of the home, thank you. 
Working a shorter week might be okay, then I could get some personal hacking 
done.  
The only thing that I have found that works as far as the housework goes, is if
you each pick up after yourselves and do your own wash, and hire a maid once a 
month. Having children to support, I can't afford the maid so we share the 
chores.  At the point that they are supporting themselves, I will start hiring 
someone.
