Daniel Scneider rebuffed me by claiming that I didn't know what I was talking about, etc. My reply to Dan is that he apparently doesn't know how to read the Globe sportsection, there is both "reporting" and "sports journalism" in it. Did you ever read Ray Fitzgerald's columns before he died? If the two papers were to merge then maybe Murray Chass would get to cover fly fishing, maybe.
