Well, the Cardinal's just beat the Dodgers, as previously predicted in this
space.  LaSordid out did himself as a manager:  pitch to Jack Clark with
first base open?  Come on.  Fortunately, LaSwordfish being an idiot as a
manager gives a nice esthetic balance to the banjo-hitting, rock-handed
fielding team he manages.  The decent starting pitching looks sorta outta
place.

I'll go out on a limb and repeat my contention that Toronto should win
tonight, but even if I'm wrong, the Dodgers were beaten, Beaten, BEATEN.
