I am not "worrying about all the little details". I asked a question, which I thought perfectly reasonable. I enjoy Star Trek, and when I enjoy something and I find an question I can't answer about it, I try to get an answer so that I may enjoy it that much more. Of course if you think that we shouldn't ask questions so that we may "implement a Star Trek-style environment in the 23rd century" I think it will come out more like the Klingons than the Federation.
