I read recently that 2,000,000 teenagers a year (round figure) attempt suicide.
Only 5,000 are successful.  That's 0.25%.  Come on, people, get with it!
Our youth are an embarrassment to our country.

Of the 2E6 attempts, probably 50% were attempts with dull doors, blunt boxes,
caustic floor tile, or kudzu.  These are terrible time when teen-agers seek
brain death in the arms of decorative plants.
