any suggestions would be helpful:


we are trying to generate a large table of contents using the MM macros
	.H and .TC

we keep hitting the wall on Table of contents string space with the following
error.

		Too many string/macro names.

we have trimmed down the entries to bare bones but still run out of room.

any ideas re:

	- another way to produce a large TOC using nroff

	- any way to bump up the TOC buffer used by nroff

	- nroff index capabilities with the same effect
