Since this have probably been covered so much, please respond by MAIL. I won't even post a summary unless there are enough requests to do so. Here's the situation. I'm buying a color TV or maybe a VCR in the near future. (I plan to buy the VCR only if my roomate buys a color TV) As a novice, I would like information on how to avoid buying a model which will be out dated in six months. I'm looking to spend around $500. So I am looking for information on recommended models. But I'm also looking for information on video technology in general. Things like stereo, or can you use the tuner (and remote controll) on a cable ready TV or VCR when a decoder is needed? Any recommended texts or magazines would also be helpful. Remember, I am almost a complete novice. Thanks for the help! -- Droyan David Roy Anolick ihnp4!bentley!{droyan|dxa} ^ ^^^ ^^ "For the lightning"
