Addison-Wesley sells "MicroTeX" for the IBM PC/XT for $500 for a single
machine license.  A firm called "Personal TeX" sells a version called
"PC-TeX" in several peices, whose prices add up to the same, or perhaps
a bit less.  MicroTeX works very well, but the driver program, "dvi-eps"
has a lot of bugs which have been reported but remain unfixed.  I have
not used PC-TeX but both products were reviewed in the September, 1985
issue of Dr. Dobbs Journal.  The review is, unfortunately, both shallow
and misleading; read it with caution.
