The Tom Tom Club Romeo Void Missing Persons The Eurythmics The Pointer Sisters These differ from the women mentioned by the press in that they're groups with female lead singers, not solo artists, but they're definitely worth "checking out". The first three are a little less well known, which is why I wanted to post this. Any other obscure favorites ("newies-but-goodies") ? -- Rich Wagner
