From above: you should have said "SOME husbands ultimately make all the decis- ions", and "In the past, SOME women had very little input into what went on", and SOME husbands alowed 10 bucks a week on his wife, etc., etc. You really make it sound like there existed a robotic society where wives were nothing more than subordinate machines with on/off buttons, no love, no consideration, no feelings.
