On one of Sun's glossy fact sheets with the above title there is a phrase
which reads "...the GP supports all of the 160 graphics standards, including
Pixrects, SunCore, ...".

Can someone (perhaps somebody from Sun) tell me what Sun's *Pixrect* package
is?  I'm currently writing up a description of a device driver-level
abstraction I developed for graphics devices called "pixel rectangles" 
and I should probably know if Pixrects are similar or different.

The best reply gets a reference in my thesis (unless you ask me not to).
