I have smallc version 2.1, and am having some problems with files.
I have a Royal Alphatronic PC (and still can't find another one
in existance), with 56K and am using L80 and M80.  When I try to
open a file with fopen and write to it, I get trash on the screen.
Also, I/O redirection via ">" and "<" works sometimes, other times
it simply reboots the system.  Other than this, everything works
fine.  I would really appreciate some assistance and/or any useful
programs anyone has for small-C.

Also, is version 2.1 the latest version?  The one I have is from
Simtel in pd:<cpm.smallc21>.
