We found the Printronix to be completely unsatifsactory. We were one of the first sites to evaluate the unit. The main problems with the Printronix were: 1. The technology used is cold fusion rather than heat fusion, so the toner does not stay on the page very well. It smears easily and comes off if you run it through a photocopier a few times. 2. The 1500 sheet paper feeder (an option) constantly jams. The DataProducts printer was much better. Our only hesitation was that controller we were looking at had some bugs.
