I recently posted the query:

    Can someone tell me (via uucp mail, if possible) about the recent Berkeley
    Spice simulator (in C, not Fortran) that I have heard about?  Is this avail-
    able already?  Is it public domain (or permissible for anyone to use for
    nonprofit purposes) like its Fortran-based ancestor?  Who should one contact
    to obtain a copy?  I would like to satisfy my curiosity about this but do 
    not know where to ask.  Thank you.

I have gotten a reply from the author, who by request I am leaving anonymous
(the author did not want to be swamped with queries!  No, it is NOT Cindy
