At the university where I received my baccalaureate degree, Hofstadtler's
book was used in the basic AI course as a fundamental element. Bach's as 
well as Escher's works were examined in context. The course at the time
was listed in the undergraduate catalog as an advanced studies class under 
the Department of Computer Science, Texas Christian University.
