My 1975 Behemoth Electra 225 has a special feature built into the valve cover gaskets that changes the oil gradually over a period of several weeks. There are special crevices in these gaskets that automatically drain the oil as you drive the car. All you have to do is add a quart of new oil every 300 miles or so. It's a real time-saver. In order to get this feature, however, you must allow the gaskets to age about 80,000 miles or so.
