Summary: 

I have a '79 Mazda RX-7 which is about due for its third set of tires.  Any
recommendations?  I'm currently using Michelin XZX's which I'm none too
fond of - they tend to accentuate the car's tail-happiness.

Pointers to comparison tests of tires (especially where the test car is an
RX-7) would be especially appreciated.
