I'm interested in references to iconic interfacs to Unix.
I'm especially interested in the approach (if any) the
interface to the pipe facility provided by Unix.

I have information (from BYTE) on the AT&T Unix PC and the Torch Systems
Unix Box, and I have physical access to Sun workstations (and Suntools)
as well.
