   As a student at Washington State University (the one who can't make it
to the Rose Bowl but keeps the Huskies from making it :-) I agree that
continuing Fall semester after Christmas is disgusting.  During my first
two years here, the administration had not yet seen the light, so we started 
in September and ended in January. However, last year they adjusted the 
school year so we finished before Christmas. IT'S GREAT!!!

   And no, you don't study over break even with the threat of finals just
three weeks away!
