I was scanning old MIT yearbooks (from as far back as 1907) the other evening and I realized that while most of the other dormitories have changed radically in the nearly 80 years covered by the yearbooks, East Campus has remained remarkably consistant in its style. I think that is because its a huge dorm and thus tends to swallow the minor social fluctuations that can swing the environment of a smaller dorm. -- -Charles
