I read something startling (well, OK, cynically predictable)
in Mile High Futures the other day...apparently one of the 
reasons that X-Factor was so late in coming out
is that issue #1 underwent a "massive overhaul by Jim Shooter"
which completely rescripted whole segments of the book (which
also explains why the lettering was so ... schizophrenic).
Anybody know anything about what was rescripted, or why?
