I think I've finally figured out who Sensor Girl is:
Northstar in drag!
He got tired of Marvel's treatment of himself, especially not
being able to proclaim his sexual orientation in public.
So, he defected to DC, but has to remain with his face
hidden until his contract with Marvel runs out.

Well, it's a posibility at least...
