Lines: 22 [ for those of you who don't read net.sources... ] I recently posted an interpreter for the Karel programming language on net.sources (the "Subject" line reads "karel 1.0"). This language is meant as introduction to structured programming languages such as Pascal. This interpreter is an integral part the Pascal courses here, and has been a tremendous success with the students. As the author of the language, Richard Pattis, intended, the students are attracted by the visual feedback that Karel provides. If you currently are involved in teaching structured programming, I encourage you to take a look at this program. If you would like further information about how Karel is used here, please write.
