I am posting this for a friend! Please respond to the address he gives at the bottom! Thanks! -------------------------------------------------------------- I am planning on moving to France for 2 or 3 years around Feb. I have sold my motorcycle here in New York, and hope to ride again in my new (temporary) home. I currently hold a valid NY class 5 and 7 driver's liscence. My question is: Will I come up against any unexpected hassles when I buy my next bike in France (or Italy or Germany)? Also, what about insurance and any paper work I should do before I leave? I was told by a friend that I may have some difficulty if I pla to have a bike for a long period of time (>3 months) with a foriegn liscence. Any help from someone who has lived abroad or who knows about this situaion would be greatly appreciated. Thanx. David Sassoon UUCP: cmcl2!philabs!cubsvax!das ARPA: cubsvax!das@columbia
