I already have GNU emacs on our vaxen, but want something rather smaller to run on other machines. Am willing to hack source if necessary, so all offers gratefully received. Would prefer Gosling (mocklisp) emacs if its sufficiently smaller! But I'm really only interested in something which is written in C or some other major language.
