Ladies and Gentlemen:

A month or two ago, I asked FRP readers to send me mail about
fanzines, since my wife and I were thinking of starting one.
I got a very good response and many helpful words of advice,
not to mention a complimentary copy of one zine (thanks, Kay!).
Many of the people who wrote asked me to let the Net know if
and when we were going to publish, so here's the notice.

The name of the zine is Buffalo Steak Tartare (and to understand
the name, you'll have to read the issue).  We will be running
regular articles on FRPs (as well as other games and amusements),
and happily accept contributions (even by E-mail).  And here's a
FREE OFFER!!  Mail me your name and address by E-mail, and we
will send you a free copy of Issue #1 (to be mailed sometime in
early December).  You can earn even more free issues by sending
in articles...but enough of such unabashed plugs.  I hope to hear
from a lot of you out there, and I hope you like the zine!
