Also, has anyone out there devised some new spell lists, I would also be interested in them. > --Simon-- _______________________________________________________________________________ Simon: Yes, I have played MERP (Middle Earth Role Playing, from Iron Crown Enterprises). Concerning MERP spells and potions and herbs and habitats: Iron Crown also produces: Character Law/Campaign Law: (Now combined in a single book...be sure to get the single book, rather than its predecessors.) This book tells how to set up characters, campaigns, etc., in the ROLEMASTER system, of which MERP is a subset. It includes a complete description/prices/habitat/chance of finding/etc. of herbs, armor, weapons, items, etc. Spell Law: A compendium of spells, and the laws that govern spell casting. In my opinion, this is truly the finest set of magic and magic laws so far created for fantasy role playing. Arms Law/Claw Law: The complete guide to arms, armor, and combat. Creatures and Treasures: A monster manual set up for MERP or Rolemaster, as well as a guide to treasures, magic items, artifacts, etc. Hey, I'm not trying to sell Rolemaster and/or MERP, but the foregoing manuals/books are where you'll find answers to your query.
