Message-ID: <521@mit-eddie.UUCP> Date: Thu, 21-Nov-85 10:09:48 EST Article-I.D.: mit-eddi.521 Posted: Thu Nov 21 10:09:48 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 23-Nov-85 10:21:21 EST Sender: daemon@mit-eddi.UUCP Organization: MIT, Cambridge, MA Lines: 17 From: FAC0392%UOFT01.BITNET@WISCVM.ARPA (Len Brady) Is anyone connected with TAPR reading this? Does anyone else have experience I can tap? Problem: My TNC 2 Revision 2 kit came with a couple of components missing. I wrote to TAPR about it on the 11th of November, but they haven't responded. I cannot find (one of) the missing capacitors anyplace locally or even in mail order catalogs. Query: I know TAPR does not intend to make/sell any more TNC kits; have they, in effect, gone out of business? Has anyone reading this been able to get missing parts from them, or is Caveat Emptor still a good rule? 73 Len KF8J
