While I can get insert/delete to effect the whole window, it doesn't stop at cleared positions, no matter how I set up the attributes of cleared positions. While this terminal can and probably should be set up for the more "normal" style insert/delete for most editing, there are a few terminals that only work in the way I described above, and it would be very useful for me to be able to test my application on the concept that I have access to. Is anyone familiar with this? I used the sequence straight out of the manual (escape = 1;4;5;7;8;99:8:32!r) and lots of variations, and nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated. -- Warren Montgomery, ihesa!warren
