It was told by a Prespiterian clergyman who was the guest preacher at an Episcopal church. the joke - A Scottish Prespiterian clergyman and a British Anglican clergyman served together in the army as chaplins all during the second World War. They were together in North Africa, Southern Europe, into Germany, and finally back to England. They had been through much together, had become good buddies, and had just been released from active duty. They were saying their farewells. The Scotsman said, "Well, my friend, the time has finally come for us to part company and get back to our own churches - you to serve God in your way and me to serve God in HIS way."
