I posted to this group suggesting that we could gather canonical
lists of jokes (Light Bulb, JAP, ...) and periodically repost
these lists in an attempt to keep duplicate jokes to a minimum.
There has been several responses saying this is a good idea.
I wish to start such a thing and I am willing to coordinate
the collection and posting of the canonical lists.  Anyone
interested in collecting (especially anyone who has such collections)
please contact me by mail and I will summerize and keep this
news group up to date.

Get it straight that I am NOT talking about moderating net.jokes.
I only suggest that if we post the "current compendium" of jokes
(like they do in net.announce), we would get the net.jokes user
community "in sync" and thus see fewer repeat jokes.
