IEEE 802.3 is an IEEE/ANSI standard and a Draft International Standard within ISO (DIS 8802/3). It is also a Federal Information Processing Standard in the US as FIPS PUB 107. IEEE 802.4 has the same status while 802.5 isn't quite at the ISO/DIS level. 802.5 is a Draft Proposal. The IEEE Computer Society publishes the standard which can be ordered from them for $21.95 ($19.95+handling for IEEE members - include membership number).
