Be aware, however, that many airlines will cancel your reservations on subsequent legs of a trip if you miss an earlier leg. This is even true if you inadvertantly miss your flight, and catch another flight. It happened to me. I missed one connection, and unknown to me, the airline canceled my return trip! Boy, did I have to scramble.
