Don't you realize that every person who smokes saves the government about $35,000 (or so I read in Scientific American). Seems medical costs are more than offset by the decreased social security payments. (:} Hang in there guys, you'll pay off the national debt yet! (Sorry I'm not still helping out. I smoked 3 packs a day for about ten years. Quit smoking and drinking coffee last February. Feel great. My best encouragement was truly concerned ex-smokers. Thanks for the chance to influence - I hope - a few more smokers.)
