Lines: 17 Xref: watmath net.med:2834 net.motss:2293 In the November 16, 1985, US edition of the weekly newsmagazine, _The Economist_, there is an article entitled "The AIDS virus shows a chink in it armour." I quote the first paragraph of the article [without permission]: "At last there is good news about AIDS. Not for victims, but for those people--more that a million of them--who have the virus but not the symptoms. Last month, a woman in California who probably had had the virus was shown to have it no longer. Now a scientist in Cambridge has shown that the body's immune system can kill the virus." Interesting news if it's true. Can anyone verify and/or expand upon the real research that this article refers to?
